Should I Keep Work Hours as a Freelance Musician?

Working on weekends, working all day AND all night, or not working half the days in the week...Does this sound like you? It sounds like me, at least until I made one change:

I started keeping work hours. Oops.

Aren’t we supposed to be free-spirit musicians who live as we choose? Yes. And we can choose to make a livable income, eat, and make rent.
