This week we're taking a deep dive into mental illness. I know it's not always the most fun topic, but it affects so many of us; I think it's important to keep talking about it and to normalize it.
As an artist, we're more predisposed to depression and anxiety than those who have a traditional day job. This makes it even more important to be aware of our mental state, because our music literally depends on it.
In this video, I cover the fallacy of the struggling artist and give you three tips to prevent and manage mental illness, all at the same time. There's a bonus tip at the end as well for those looking for a step beyond these three.
